I'm still looking forward to that one myself...couldn't sit through the original XMen but I may have to give it another try.

We watched "Race to Witch Mountain" and "G.I.Joe"....actually liked them both. GIJOE was not quite as good as my son made it out to be...but watchable! emoticon

Watched the new Star Trek this weekend. Enjoyed it, it was entertaining an a nice time killer. Still I wouldn't buy it, that's for sure. I thought the beginning was way too drawn out. I know why they did it but it really got a bit too involved.

I finally saw uninterrupted the old movie, "I'm Not Rappaport" with Walter Matthau and Ossie Davis reprising the Broadway roles done by Judd Hirsch and Cleavon Little. It's a funny and sad movie, worth watching if you can live without special effects and car chases.

I turned off GI Joe after ten minutes.

I watched Star Trek this weekend too, and loved it, I thought they did a great job introducing the characters to a younger audience.. unlike the horrible job Star Wars did. Why did you feel the beginning was too drawn out Bec, I thought it set up Kirks birth and tied in the whole Old Spock very well.. hell, I watched it 3 times to make sure I wasnt making another Charlie Angels drunken thumbs up review ..haha

I just felt it took too long to get to the main characters. I enjoyed the movie just thought it was slow in spots.

As for GI Joe...LOL. I would have turned it off after 10 minutes, I just kept thinking 'it's got to get better'.... it didn't.
