Any fans of HBO's new series "True Blood"?

I know that it's based on a different series of books, but it calls to mind the Anita Blake Vampire Hunter series for its mix of gore and humor. I was skeptical when I saw the promos, but I've seen a few episodes already and I think they have another winner on their hands.

I've not had a "must watch" series since The Sopranos ended. I wouldn't yet put this show in that category, but I would probably be a little disappointed if I missed the next episode. Fortunately, being HBO, you can see it practically around the clock. I'm a DirecTV customer, but I know many cable companies offer an On-Demand feature where you can see HBO original programming any time you want.

I'm DirectTV too. I just never think to check what's on HBO. I have like a zillion movie channels.. emoticon

I missed this..

I love that show, cant wait for it to come back on, the girls are hot, the underlying sexual tension is cool and hey they are vampires, what else can you want?

Its on my DVD schedule, hope it start up again soon..

I just watched a marathon of the five episodes I missed between the trip to Europe and the holidays...my opinion has only gotten better. It is now official must-see TV.

There are also shape-shifters and hints of werewolves, too.

Since Anna Paquin is 26 I don't feel like a child molester exhibiting some lustful feelings for her.

Agreed, it got better and better, Entourage has lost a step but its still a heck of a one two Sunday night punch.

All day sports, then those two make Sundays my fav day of the week
