I'm still wondering what the deal is with (what's her name -- the one in whose house Tara has been living?) She obviously has powers and the there and gone pig make me think she may be the nighttime monster that slashed both Sookie and the other waitress. She has an axe to grind against the bar owner.

I have a feeling Tara's new guy is the slasher thing, I think the chick in the house is like some master evil planner, and she controls those under he spell, so to speak.

Saw like 10 minutes of it last night. Vampires with Southern accents... Odd to say the least.

It's well-trod ground. Ann Rice's novels are set in Louisiana, too.

Not saying it didn't work. Just found it odd. I've never watched the show. Thought about getting it on Netflix. I might give it a try.

It seems like I was right about the identity of the slasher monster.

Did you see you can now order True Blood to drink? It's a blood orange flavored soda.

Last night's episode left a good cliffhanger which I won't give away in case you haven't seen it.

Maybe not, cause Eggs said he thought he had done a terrible thing. I still think he is the slasher, Maryanne likes to have others do her dirty work.

Should be interesting to see what happens when Sookie returns. Why do I think having half the town locked up is NOT the safest place to be? emoticon

I got around to watching last week's episode in which Godrick committed vampire suicide. Aside from some prurient interest (Sookie in bed with Eric in a dream), it was a yawner. Of course, they made up for it with last night's episode -- plenty of action!

Agreed, the whole Church of the Light story went too long, but last night was awesome! Seems Sookie has a few more tricks up her sleeve..

Re: "True Blood" is back!

That storyline isn't over because it's unresolved. You also have wifey coming apart at the seams as evidenced by her lambasting of the holier-than-thou hubby on TV.

Predictions? She may switch sides and come after her now departed loverboy who was last seen shirtless and smiting Sam. Her desire to humiliate her husband may overwhelm her transparent devotion to the "mission"
