Ships in the Night
Our Lives are but like ships in the night,
Passing each other it seems,
Sharing our light with one another,
As we go about our dreams.
Dreams that are never ending,
Each of us steering a different course
Sailing our life's journey
To reach our ultimate reward.
A reward that knows no bounds,
It's as endless as the stars
That help us steer this course
Of ours from Jupiter to Mars.
So should you see another
Sailing along in the night
Blink your lights in friendship
Showing the world "all's right".
