It's just a Fairy Tale....

The Truth Behind The Fairy Tales

Many people think that Grimm's Fairy Tales have always been the sweet, bedtime tales we read today - but they'd be very wrong. The original stories collated by the brothers were far from childrens reading material and were often cruel and violent. Dean might make fun of my knowledge, but in cases like we dealt with in Maple Springs, sometimes the little 'girlie' things are what save the day.

Jacob and Wilhelm began collecting folk tales in the early 1900's by inviting local peasants as well as middle-class aristocracy to their home to recount stories that had been passed down through the generations. Publications began in 1810 and continued for many years - although many revisions had to be made due to complaints about the subject matter not being suitable for children. Eventually, the stories were watered down to the version we know today.

Lillian Bailey O.B.E. - The Ghost Puppet

Lillian Bailey was a deep-trance medium who had a gift that allowed her spirit-self to leave her body and let another 'spirit' inhabit it. Basically, Lillian let her body be used as a vessel for those that had passed over to speak and interact with others, including loved ones.

Lillian's clients included many famous people from her time, including Merle Oberon, Mae West and the late British Queen Mother!

Lillian had two main spirit guides. William Hedley Wootton (A Grenadier Guards Captain killed in France in the First World War) and a Cingalese girl who liked to be called 'Poppet.'

Lillian was also the author of two books, 'Teachings Through The Mediumship of Lillian Bailey' and 'Death is Her Life.'
