Season 5, Episode 7: The Curious Case of Dean Winchester
Sam and Dean discover that a witch is running a high-stakes poker game where the currency is life years vs. money. Bobby sees the game as a chance to get out of the wheelchair and bets 25 years, but loses. As Bobby begins to age rapidly, Dean steps in to save him but also ends up turning into an old man, leaving Sam holding the only hopes for their survival.
Heads up Gang, looks like this won't air until Oct. 29th. Next week is either a repeat or not on period.

This should be interesting. Annoying that they're making us wait an extra week, though. Sigh...I need my fix!

I'm wondering if this might be where Dean begins to Trust Sam again. Sam is going to have to not only save Dean but Bobby too.

Ooh, love that first shot of Jensen! Is that Chad Everett playing the older Dean? I swear it looks like him in that last shot.

Re: Season 5, Episode 7: The Curious Case of Dean Winchester
Loved this one. It was funny and a bit suspenseful too. I was chewing fingernails when Sam was playing poker. I did NOT need to see Sam at 80 too.
And Dean as an old man was a riot! Especially when he was digging up the grave, whining and complaining.
The ending was great too. When Dean was talking to Bobby I had tears in my eyes.

It really was Moonie! And deep down I knew Sam was going to win but I was still a nervous wreck.

Re: Season 5, Episode 7: The Curious Case of Dean Winchester
I was a nervous wreck myself, but deep down I knew Sam had to be bluffing. Way to go, Sammy!
Chad Everett was hysterical...he had Jensen's mannerisms and reactions down PERFECTLY. The whole exchange between him and the motel maid was a riot, but the stuff with him and Bobby was classic!
Loved the exchange between Dean and Bobby at the end but I have a sinking feeling that Kripke is setting us up...just the kind of move his twisted little mind would come up with. Remind us how much Bobby means to the guys and then BAM...God, I hope I'm wrong!
Still, it was a great conversation...I had tears in my eyes too. Nicely done, Dean.
