I was about to ask the same thing Dan. We will need to rent a car soon, with all the teams flying into these 2 airports, you would think that the rentals are going to go quick.

Southwest - PHL to columbus $117 all in. 48$ each way plus tax.
Southwest gives you credit, so rebook with them. There is no cancellation or change fees.
I just booked:
Thu Oct 08 0300
Depart PHL at 3:25 PM
Arrive in COLUMBUS OH (CMH) at 4:50 PM
Mon Oct 12 1576
Depart COLUMBUS OH (CMH) at 5:20 PM
Arrive in PHL at 7:00 PM
$117.20

The Monday flight is 48$. I am flying out Thurs. so I was able to get 48$ for Thurs.
The friday flight is $59.
Spoke with Tim K and he said he paid $69 and $59, so rebook if you got the more expensive ticket.
Hotwire has cheap cars out of Columbus. $22 per day or so. But do not book. If there are enough guys, maybe a mini-van will be needed and club will help out.
So hold off on booking rental cars unless you are Mike Slye and would like a rental all to yourself.

Arrive in COLUMBUS OH (CMH) at 4:50 PM
Mon Oct 12 1576 Depart COLUMBUS OH (CMH) at 5:20 PM
Arrive in PHILADELPHIA PA (PHL) at 7:00 PM
For $149 all up
so it has gone up a bit but still pretty good. could have got $132 for basically the same thing on usairways but totally non-refundable/non-rebookable, this SW deal is great never knew you could get a redeemable cheap ticket (not money back but full credit if you cancel).

the prices keep changing daily. So keep checking and maybe you can save yourself some money.
The prices went up from this morning for your flight.

I just booked mine too -- same as other people on southwest (3:25 on Fri, 5:20 on Monday).
What are we doing about hotels? Any decisions about those yet?

Todd,
Respond to my email from last week. We will take care of the booking. Let us know how many people will be with you. We are most likely not going to stay at the King's Island Resort. There a less expensive hotels in the area.
It looks like a lot of people are doing the columbus airport friday afternoon. We will coordinate a ride or car rental for you guys.

I've just booked my flight, and I too will be on the 3:25 flight to Columbus on Friday afternoon and the 5:20pm flight home.
It's becoming the Hawks Express. ^_^
