Re: What did you do today to get better?
Serious question: what do you do after 90 days? Can you start the program again?
Non-serious idea: P-60x: same as P-90x, but it only takes 60 days - I think i have a winner on my hands

Re: What did you do today to get better?
I have P90x, it is a great workout. It is meant to shock your body for 3 months. Most people get into a monotonous workout routine that fails to produce results as your body adapts to it.
After the 3 months you can continue doing your normal workouts, or you can pick and choose the p90x routines that best fit your needs. For example, instead of doing P90x 6 days a week maybe do it 3 or 4 times a week and focus on resistance training.
I did P90x for about 2 months before my wedding. Between my foot injury and wedding, i didnt get to complete the 3rd month but was very pleased with the workout.
Throughout the summer i have been focusing on cardio and running so i have used p90x to compliment that by doing plyometrics every now and then to change up my workout.
It comes with an easy to follow nutritional plan as well.

Then having proved you can do it, you get to rest on your laurels and turn into a total slob for rest of your life.
Did CardioX again yesterday - already seems easier and can do some of the things a bit better, and not so sore today.
Guess I'll try plyometrix next week probably Monday, plus another CardioX session Wednesday - maybe also fit a short run in Tuesday, plus boxing 1 or 2 days.

Re: What did you do today to get better?
Saturday: had a kick with my brother while he was in town.
Tuesday: ran 3 miles, tried to break 9 min miles but between my achey body and severe hills in my neighborhood i hit a wall. Ended up with pace of 10min/mi.
Friday: 3 miles on the treadmill at 8:50/Mi.
wont make it to baltimore this weekend but will be ready to go for boston.

Re: What did you do today to get better?
3+ mile run/jog today, 2 sets of 25 pushups, and a good long stretch. Felt good even with a few bumps and bruises.
2 mi scheduled for tomorrow, I'm really trying to work on my stamina running around on the field so i've been looking into novice level half marathon training schedules. Looks like a lot of running but I'm one who needs a set schedule to keep on track and motivated.
Anyone ever follow a similar type running exercise?

Re: What did you do today to get better?
Tried plyometrics yesterday (P90X).
Pretty hard, I bumbled through it with a few extra pause breaks. If not for this forum thread I nearly quit half way (that would have been embarrassing).
anyway not too sore this morning so I guess the cardioX prepped me OK for this, and should be easier next week hopefully. I'll just do cardioX once mroe this week maybe tomorrow. Hopefully ankle will be OK for the game, swelling down this morning and feels better.

Re: What did you do today to get better?
Great work this weekend guys! great to see Bob and Jim step it up after a weekend of footy.
Those two wins were huge, but now is no time to be complacent. Lets step it up now until nationals!
Yesterday I ran 3 miles at 8:30/mile... I cant wait for this weekend!

Re: What did you do today to get better?
Did cardioX again today - no picnic and I can't do everything properly, but it's a lot easier than plyometrics and quite a bit easier than the first time a couple of weeks ago. Surprised how quickly you improve.
I was sorer this morning from plyo than I was yesterday strangely.
Also boxing gym last night for about an hour.
