Footy skills and strategies - some good reading material
I came across the coaching section of the AFL website today. http://www.afl.com.au/development/coaching/drillsskillstactics/tabid/10213/default.aspx
Check out the "Strategies and Tactics," "Skills and Drills," and "How to Play" sections. Some of it may seem obvious, but it never hurts to go over the basics. There are also some really nice details in there that I found very helpful.

Yes looks like a lot of good Shawarma there, I started reading a bit of chocko Williams page (shutdown tactics) and I think some Sheedy. Huge amount of material there by the look of it.
