Boston Demons go down
Gents - I wanted to take a moment to say great job over the weekend. Alex and the board put on a great show. Our fans were awesome in the heat. Jon and Dan pulled together the right game plan and were patient enough to stick with it until the 4th quarter when it really paid divideds. Never any quit in our club on the pitch - every mistake they made was because we pressured them to do so. Great effort.
Beating Boston was something we have had in our fingertips 2-3 times during my time with the club and we finally did to them what they do to us - played better when it matters. Very proud of this effort . . . thanks for all the hard work and lets build off of this for the rest of the season! Get to training, get out for a run and get pumped cause' there ain't a better thing to be a part of in Philly.

Great Win, Felt great to sing the Hawk Victory Song. Like Ryan said, it was the constant Hawk pressure which caused their mistakes and then we capitalized.
New York is our next test (July 26) and our next opportunity for a win. To do this, we need numbers at training for the next 4 wednesdays, good metro game July 12, and couple of work-outs on your own.
We still need improvement in our set plays (ball-ups, throw ins, kick ins/outs), running in numbers, to be an option, and picking up loose men in our back line.
If we train hard as a team, focus at practice, have numbers at practice, we can and we will take down New York.
This is our biggest EAFL win since I have been a Hawk/Crow. Congrats!! Now lets get New York

Tell you what, I think this took a lot of people in the EAFL by surprise. They thought Boston was gonna come down and swipe one from us, but that didn't happen. We stayed with them all game, and we came out on top. It was great to be a part of. We're right in the thick of things now with two big challenges coming up.

Yes, it was an excellent win fellas, I couldn't be more thrilled and we do have alot of people excited. I will be sending a report to USFooty news and us footy of our results, you should all be proud. By the way we have beaten them before many moons ago, not to lessen it by any means. We are a gutsy club and the whole league already knows it.
I have received a few congrats already from followers. Lets take this win and our mistakes and get really fired up for NY. They are very tough and will travel with a full team. We will have to anti up and double down against these guys.
