Gardening Tools needed ASA
Can some one help and bring a seed spreader, rake and shovel to Practice this Wednesday may7th??
I need to repair FDR before the metro tourney and it will rain Friday Saturday which will be perfect for putting fertilizer down the day before..

bought a spreader and and 10 bags of fertilizer and barely covered the dry area around the drain
As as a club boys we need to be thinking about FDR all the time, repair, fertilize, trash. A
fter 8 years with this club and doing most of the field finding FDR is basically our only option for games and is also an excellent setup but it does need our help.
We'll need to do a few more days of soil replacement and fertilization this year,
looking for people to step up and help even if its bringing a bag or 2 of lawn turf to each game and slowly we'll get the divets filled in.

Alex and Tony - good work getting the dirt, seed and rake. We have been remis for years in doing our part and Saturday was a good start. Thanks to Tim, Pete and anyone I missed for spending time at the end of a long day doing some groundkeeping. It will pay dividends in the future for the club and for our physical health - the softer the ground the less charmin I need to stuff in my shorts to soften the landing.

Alex - what else do you have planned on this front? What ever it is I would like to help

I think Fairmont park has literally tons of free compost available (from collected leaves etc). Won'dt be surprised if FDR park has it too. Maybe they would deliver a pile of it also, since it is for the park. Then we would need a wheelbarrow too.

Fellas for NY game I'd like someone to volunteer to bring 2 bags of Lawn Turf from lowes/home depot.
During Boston we needed to fill holes and came up short.
