Metro - July 12 Start Time and BBQ
Team - if we are doing the Phillies game at 3:55, does it make sense to start the metro game at 12:00 rather than 10?? We would still have 2 hours before the Phillies game to tailgate / bbq?
If we do 10 am, I will not be able to make the game.
Also - we should all sign up to bring something to the bbq? I can bring the grill, charcoals, condiments and beer.

I think it may have to do with when he have the field, Mark. We may be stuck with 10am no matter what. I wouldn't mind having a 12 o'clock start time (unless the Soul win tomorrow and end up playing at Noon, but that's a different ball of wax).

Thanx for starting this Mark. I was gunna get it going after the 4th but since we've got it goin,
I would like to start a little later Maybe a 1130am ball up. By the time the game is done around 1pm we'll have 2 hours to bbq and be packed up by 3pm to walk over to the stadium, believe it or not its a fair walk from the park about 15 to 20 minutes.
I intend for it to be a bit of a pot luck with everyone bringin salads, sodas meat for everyone to share. If we all just bring a little more than we'd eat they'll be plenty for those that didn' get to bring any and for our supporters.
If you can bring your grill that would be awesome.
I'll send out and email this weekend.

Just letting you know I won't be here for the game - I'll be near San Francisco and I'm planning to check out the local game on SAturday, maybe get a run as a sub, so I'll see how they do it over there.

11am start time now. Let me ask you guys something... how feasible is this:
11am -- Metro Game
1pm -- Soul Game
4pm -- Phillies Game
(I'm talking about for me, here.)

Great Game Whiz and Benz!! We ended up with 22 guys by the end and some great footy. Thanks to the supporters and Mike Salger for umpiring the second half.
BBQ was nice and relaxing. (Spinach Dip hot dogs I think was the hi lite of the BBQ)
12 of us ending up going to the phillies, buying scalped tickets ($2 off face value per ticket)
