It really does pay

To check around for new insurance rates every once in a while. I have been with my insurance company for my house for 7 years now. When I got my renewal this year I thought the rates where a little high. So I did some checking around and got a rate reduction of over $350 a year with a new company. I am thinking about changing the car insurance over to the new company too. That would save me an additional $70+ on the house insurance and looks like a little over $200 every 6 months on the car insurance. So I'll probably be saving a bit over $750 a year!!! emoticon

Wonderful Felecia! Now we need the company names! I love to hear stories like this to know that those commercials on TV are actually telling the truth!

We have our home & cars insured by State Farm. I like the company and our agent and we've been with them for probably 20 plus years. But I wonder if we could be saving money elsewhere. I always worry about switching cause reading those contracts is so complicated that I don't want to miss something important and end up finding out down the road that we weren't covered for something.
