New stuff with Jocelyn

Jocelyn is doing new things every day it seems!! She waves now, though it doesn't happen very often. The other day Nathan was going outside and I waved her hand once and said bye bye daddy and she waved it herself and said ba ba ba, it was too cute!!

About a week or so ago she pulled herself up from the floor to standing using the side of our coffee table. She hadn't done that yet, now she's doing it whenever she can!!!

And just a few nights ago she started clapping all by hersefl!!! We've been showing her how to do it and claping her hands together for her, but she's never done it on her own. And once she started she didn't want to stop! emoticon

Oh and she turned 10 months old on Saturday!! My baby is getting too big!!!! emoticon

She says a few little phrases now too. Mama, dada, uh oh, and there are times I can swear she says other things but I think it's just wishful hearing!

She walks all around as long as she is holding onto something with both hands. She is still really wobbly if she is only holding with one hand. And it kinda scares her, so for now she's "cruising", lol.

We brushed her four little teethies for the first time last night. It was quite an adventure, lol. I'm trying to use this little finger toothbrush to brush her teeth and gums and she's trying to bite my fingers cause the toothpaste tastes good. Lucky I was quick enough to move my finger before she got any good bites in!!!

Ahhh the baby stages! At that age it is one thing after the other. It is so amazing how fast babies learn. You absolutely must get her first words and babytalk on tape! I have my 40 year old daughters baby talk on tape and it's awesome to hear it, and I can remember the day we taped it like it was yesterday. Back then I didn't have a video camera since they weren't invented yet LOL, And I remember having a Reel-to-reel tape recorder. She was saying "go round" awwww.

We don't have a video camera but both of our cell phones have that capability so we've gotten some videos of her. And we have tons of pctures, lol. I never though about taping her though, I'll have to see if we even have a tape recordere at the house, lol.
