Co-workers...

Does anyone else get tired of drama at work?

I'm a nursing supervisor and honestly sometimes I feel like a cattle wrangler/babysitter.

I never really had any co-workers to deal with. I was self-employed most of my life and only had to deal with the public. That in itself was challenging.

Ladyhawke, could you make your link in your siggy clickable?

Yes, I was a Project Director over 12 "adults". I know what you are talking about. Some days, it took all I had to not blow up at them. The women were the WORST! Catty, back-biting snots. I did this job for about 6 years. I liked it, don't get me wrong. But the crap sometimes did get to me!

You are singing to the Choir LadyHawke... I oversee men at times I have had 21 under my supervision. I am the Project Coordinator for emergency mining response... it's a man's industry and "lemme tell ya..." coal miners don't take too kindly at first to having a woman hire them and be their supervisor. So I get over that hurdle, they figure out I am every bit as capable as man if not more so and then the drama starts... Crazy things have happened I'll tell you. Love love love the job though. But sometimes people are too nutty for their own good.

I would NOT want to be in charge of so many people. I admire you all for the positions you have or had, I just don't think I could do it and be able to clear my mind enough to relax when I got home. Too many problems from all the individual egos. And like Ladyhawke said, too much drama. I'm glad you like your jobs though cause somebody has to do it and I'm sure you're all very good at it too.

To make a link clickable you first click on the "link" button at the top of the reply text box. A screen will pop up where you will enter your link, when you click OK another will pop up letting you name your link (for example you can call it "My Webpage" or "Click Here for info" or anything you want.

This will insert the code into your post so when you submit your post it will be clickable.
