speaking of bad drivers: my dh was driving to his mom's on monday. he's got a little kia sportage convertible. small car, not much to it. driving the street goes from 2 lanes down to one. the left lane disappears....HUMONGOUS (sp?) cadillac with an old ***** at the wheel is coming on his left!! she almost made him hit a parked car!! he followed her. at the next light he jumps out cursing her out and she says: well, my car is bigger so you should get out of MY WAY!! imagine that??

That's what scares me about driving in smaller cars or on a motorcycle, the people in the big cars and SUVs hog the road and make it dangerous for everyone else when they do. What an attitude she had! She should have apologized.

I have driven in Calif, Kansas, Ill, and Missouri. I have seen what drivers are like including here in Iowa. I know what you mean.
