My job
I have been working at my job now almost 2 yrs. I'm a older person then my boss is, she is only 22 yrs old. I make mistakes and I'm not perfect either. If I don't remember things I need to write them down. But today was the final straw and I'm ready to get on without this job anymore. I guess I'm saying it's to much stress for me. I got myself wrote up 3 times so far this yr and so of it was my fault but some of it was for stupid things that didn't need to be say or done one way or another. The rules where I work just plain suck. I was ready to quit today but decided not to. I'm going to get a hold of my dr and my mental health counselor and go from there. You see I have high anixety and depression and somewhat this with my job is not working or some what the medicine I'm taking isn't doing the job. I'm taking Lexapro and it's 20 milegrams. I'm cried when I got home and I'm thinking I need to get something done before I get fired from my job. Is this time to much for me and do I need to find something else or just stick it out. That's my question????

Margie im so sorry you are going through this. Some advice is to try and stick it out and try to find another job to keep the money coming in at the same time. Keep us posted on how things are going.

No one should have to work at a job that causes so much stress. Start looking for something else but hang in there at work. I would just bide my time there and try to be as invisible as possible. I hope you will have luck finding another place to work that will be less stressful for you. I don't know what kind of work you do or are looking for but if you can't take it any more you can always find a waitress job to hold you over until you find something else. It's the kind of job where the money is good and the stress is pretty low. Just a thought if you can't take it anymore at work. Best of luck to you. Let us know what happens and what the doctor says.
