Actually there is a whole lot left to eat! Plus there are recipes where you can make things to substitute for things you might miss the most. You get used to it though and just eat something else. I haven't eaten toast for the longest time for example. When I eat eggs I'll have an omelet and usually home fries too. As long as Brad isn't a true Celiac he should be able to eat some things occasionally. I will have pizza once in a while, and sometimes a hoagie when I'm really bad. I usually pay for it with swollen feet, painful joints, vertigo, and diarrhea but it's worth it

Ok... this may be a sound like a real dumb question to you, but I'm in Australia and things go by different names here, and one thing you mention has me totally lost...
Can you tell me what a "hoagie" is please?

A hoagie is a submarine sandwich, a footlong, a grinder, so many different names for it. I don't know what you call it there, a sub? Usually filled with different kinds of luncheon meats like salami, bologna, pepperoni, Italian cheeses, lettuce, onion and tomato, and dressed with Italian dressing.
So do you know what it is now? And please tell us what you call it in Australia. I think it's so much fun to learn the slang from around the world!
For example, I play games on a website called Aussie Arcade and most of the members are from Australia. They say things like "Arvo everyone!" and "It's so hot today, we need a visit from old Huey!" And I had NO IDEA what either of those phrases meant so I had to ask! Now I know! So anytime you see a phrase or word that is USA slang just ask!
