Well, now that I've ruined everyone's afternoon.....
let me just say that I feel relieved to have had the chance to come here and be the jerk-of-the-day. Sorry, Jim.
Perhaps tomorrow, when I get home from work, which is usually after all of you have gone home, I wont see a half dozen threads declaring that we crackers are racist for not supporting Obama.
And no, I'm not a Republican and not a supporter of McCain's. I feel like Hillary Hussein McCain is nothing but bad for this nation. All three are gutter sluts and part of the already corrupt establishment. We;ll have business as usual in Jan.09, just like the Democrat dominated house has given us.
With that, I'll finish my smoke and coffee and if you wish to insult me or call me anyone of a host of names, have at it.

sounds like a person coming to grips with his own feelings about race, about his problems coming to terms with having bi-racial parents, and how it affected him as he went through life. being a teenager is always tough- lots of changes, lots of peer pressure, a fine line to walk between being popular or being "good." I don't see hatred of white people in there, I see a man trying to figure out how he fits in to this bizarre society we have here, of two different cultures and races, with all the baggage inherent in not only how the black people originally came here, but how they were treated for 100 years or so after they were emancipated. Do you really not have enough empathy to see where Obama is coming from when he writes these words? That, in a way, he is berating himself for giving into a sort of white hate, which was in a way, was self-loathing, too, as he was just as much white as he was black. I admire his honesty, and I can see him struggling to do the right thing, and I believe he eventually came to a better place in his acceptance of both his white and black heritage.
