Do you Agree with these "Faith", "Miracle" Statements? In this one thread, I will grant everyone immunity from insults...there will be no invective from me.
That being said, I'm reading a novel...which is somewhat of a mild assault on the Catholic Church, similar to Angels and Demons and the Da Vinci Code.
But I came across a couple quotes I would like to share with you...
A Scientist and a Catholic FBI agent are discussing "miracles" and proof or evidence, and why the scientist doesnt' yet believe in God or "miracles."
And I came across this, from the Catholic:
1) "See, the thing about miracles is... if you have faith, you don't need them, and if your a doubter, well then no miracle is ever enough."
and later:
2) "Faith is easy when you're standing in front of a miracle. The real test of any faith is when there aren't any miracles."
Do you agree or disagree with these quotes? Why or why not...all opinions welcome.
… No, just the reviews and they were very poor. Familiar with the plot line though. That's how I recognized it. Archeologist (hot) and Male Catholic FBI agent. Shades of the TV show "Bones".
