An old saw
It has been said that one should not talk about religion, politics or sex in polite company. I guess that makes all of us rather "impolite" because it seems that is all we are able to talk about on this board.

so the guy goes into a bar, after a while, he gets bored, no one to talk to, so he says to the bartender, "Hey, did you see Hillary's concession speech the other day?" and the bartender says, "Listen, buddy, we don't talk about politics in here...Get that straight, okay?" and the guys says yeah, sure...whatever....After a few minutes, he is still bored, so he says, "Hey, did you hear where the Pope has decided that catholics have to go back to eating fish on Fridays?" and the bartender says, "Hey, pal, that is another thing we don't talk about in here...So just can it, mister." and the guys says whatever...After a few more minutes, and after he has finished his drink, the guys says, "Does this bar have any real rules about talking about sex?" and the bartenders says no...and the guy says, "Good. **** you." and walks out.

I agree with ck - it is cathartic. Where else do we have the forum to do this? I don't discuss religion/politics with many people at all. Sex, sure...but that depends whom I'm talking to.

Just got this in an email and thought it appropriate for this thread
A college class was told they had to write a short story in as few words as possible. The instructions were that the short story had to contain the following three things:
(1) Religion
(2) Sexuality
(3) Mystery
Below is the only A+ paper in the class.
"God, I'm pregnant! I wonder who the father is"
