Max Lucado is my favorite Christian writer. My daughter gave me his book "3:16" for my birthday and I can't wait to start reading it. His books are always so good.

 emoticon 2 excellent books come to mind that I just finished reading. The first is called 90 minutes in Heaven by Don Piper Thought provoking and inspiring.

The second one...Was my point of grace with me this book has traveled as I have over the months spent sitting in a variety of doctors offices...it is called, Spot of Grace by Dawna Markova short stories that give a person a sense of self and a moment to reflect on ourselves. NOT heavy or holy holy...just human interaction and that special place we go when we know we are in the presence of greatness and good... the breath of fresh air at times that are overwhelming and suffocating!

In the succeeding months I have an additonal book to be with me it's called, Awaking to your life's purpose by Eckhart Tolle. Me future remains many, many more doctor and hospital visits for the future and these books keep me going. emoticon
