Effective 7/13/08:
Board members whose actions result in direct, personal harassment to other board members (particularly, attempting to identify a user's real name, address or workplace without permission, or serious threats of violence and harm against public officials or other board members) will be subject to disciplinary action based on the severity of the incident, including official warnings, moving threads into the Steel Cage or deleted posts, temporary bans and permanent removal.
This board is for people of all opinions and beliefs to congregate, communicate and be heard. The preservation of free speech is a top priority at Polymath. As a result, board members may come across opinions and beliefs that they may find objectionable. Board members should refrain from engaging other members in an abusive, degrading or harassing manner as much as possible. Repeated breaches of this guideline by a particular board member may result in disciplinary action.
Trolls, or trolls who clone other usernames to accomplish the same goals (aka clones), will be removed upon identification by the administrators. Such users are considered sociopaths, who flame, insult, harass and provoke with impunity and complete disregard for the feelings and well being of the board community, and contribute nothing but insults, harassment, provocation and flame wars to the board. Sociopaths are not welcome.
