pretty neat if you have the time and resourses to clip coupons and spend most of the day bargain shopping.
my deal this week was, we needed a new pedestal fan. i found one mis-priced at $29.99 (was supposed to be $49.99) and then there was an one day in store coupon for 20% off any item over $20.00. So I not only got the fan at the lesser price, I got 20% off that too. cha-ching!
… i used to clip coupons too, but gave it up for the simple fact, there are rarely coupons for stuff i even buy. and when it comes to most things, i buy generic anyway. especialy the staples like , sugar, salt, pepper, dish soap. so those things are actually cheaper than the name brand kind WITH a coupon.
… yeah all the coupons now, you have to buy two to get the deal...it's just me, Richard and the puppy, I don't need two of most things. plus they always expire before I get around to using them.
I totally buy generic too, but you have to be careful...sometimes it's the same, other times, like with cough syrup, it isn't the same.
I love how CVS does the extra bucks...that was a genius promotional program...now I shop at CVS almost exclusively.

… i get a $10 gas card from an insurance rep i know, every time i refer someone to him and they purchase cycle insurance. i have $50 saved up so far in cards in case we get desperate at some point. hopefully i can just save them for the big trip to texas this fall/winter to see dragon graduate basic.
i had a feeling about that pasta too. but mr betty just had to try it.
i wish they would bring back the priazzo! that was their BEST pizza evar!
