Part 2: Scourge of Heaven
Before Part 2 can begin, I need to explain a couple of things. First, Heaven as we know it now exists on a completely different time plane than what has been established, and more will be explained in Part 3: The War in Heaven.
In 1 AH, New Heaven began to reuild the City of Glorious Monuments. They used all of the resources they could to remodel, to the original versions, all of the statues, that depicted the forms of the various Gods from time long since passed. As this task was being carried out, the architects were rebuilding the homes and sacred buildings to a more fitting being. The rebuilding took several months of hard labor, but the fruits were well worth the wait. Upon stepping into New Heaven, you would have seen a fabulous piece of art brought back to life, people rushing from place to place in order to make a living and to please their God. It all looked so peaceful from the front gate, but something devious was brewing within the sacred walls of Heaven.
Ripsfol, an artisan who helped with most of the remodeling of the statues, came to acquire a gemstone, which he had found in the rush to rebuild. The gem burned red like roses blooming in the sunlight, and had a strange aura surrounding it, as if something was hidden deep within the gem itself. Ripsfol tried to ignore it, but this only led him to pure madness. Not a soul had an idea of what he had acquired, thus prevented him from seeking spiritual guidance, which he would deny only because he was a very paranoid man, fearing that if he spoke out, then the gem would be handed over to the Judgements. This , too, deepened his madness for he knew that he would soon be completely overpowered by that which he had found. And then one night, long before morning was to break, he snapped. The ominous aura around the gem finally took ahold of him, and his spirit was crushed, his mind became frail and uncertain, he was being possessed.
The Tower of Judgement, which is where all matters of buisiness was discussed and carried out by the 6 Judgements, was a tall and grande piece of arctitectural greatness; its walls were made from stone and patterns of spiritual symals were etched and painted throughout, and it stood nearly 6 stories high, by todays standards that would not be nearly enough to call grande. It was a clear sunny afternoon, and the Judgements were deliberating on as to whether or not a certain Godlike figure statue should be torn down or not. Blipsby, the Judgemental Messenger, ran inside, and declared that trouble was afoot in Heaven. With the Judgements attentions turned to new matters, Alexia, the youngest member of the Judgements, looked out the window. The details of what she witnessed can be read below.
"The streets were filled with chaos, and overhead, looming darkness threatened to tear our civilization apart at the seams. I could not see or, much less, understand the cause, but it is no doubt that tis not a human-being. I saw dark birds swoop down like arrows in a barrage, and attack helpless people. I dare not look no further, for this is a massacre yet seen by fragile eyes...and the dead...there is many."
In the city, a dark figure appeared out of the shadows, standing tall with a sly grin on its face. Nothing more could be seen from the reaches of the Tower, but the declaration it made was all too clear.
"In the name of Aluisis, I declare war on the Gods and the Heaven they have created. We will tak eback what is rightfully ours!" And, in an angry yet determined voice it yelled, "I call forth the forces of
Aluisis, demons arise! Bring forth the might of hell, send these mortals to their graves!"
And so, without warning, Heaven was forced to go to war, one that was once prevented with great care, and the fear of the fall of Heaven. Although, in their rebuilding phase, Heaven did manage to raise a worthy army, though they had hoped never to have to call upon it for safety. This is the time for rule, the real test of faith for Heaven...
