I can remember actually wanting my hair curly. I tried desperately to get a perm to last. I'd look fantastic for like....three days and then I'd resemble a poodle who got stuck in a lightsocket for three months. It was mortifying.

I can understand what Master Chief is saying about trying to get his hair to lay down. Hell mine's straight as a poker and it still won't obey me. But when I had that "poodle-do" it wouldn't do.....anything.

I'm guessing gel doesn't help much Master Chief. Or is it a texture thing? As in you can't stand the texture of gel?

it works for many people i know. that way when it grows out and you don't get it re done in that time you can jsut straighten the roots that has grown out...works nicely..you can also blowdry your hair a surtain way to make it striaghter. *knows way to much about hair even though i prefer to do nothing with my hair*
