HI DI HO Queeny is here!

Just thought I'd stop by from the Sandbox Hop! Most of you know me here already...
For the rest.....
Just call me Queeny...I run Queeny's Obsessions. Used to be a Lord of the Rings fan site, but sort of "morphed" into an all inclusive celebrity Obsession site!
I'm pushing 50 years old..married to the same man for 30 years, MOM to one 18 year old College boy, and slave to 4 cats. At the moment our house is for sale in Minnesota, and we are living the vagabond lifestyle, in a 38 foot RV......which at the moment is parked in a campground in Arizona....and getting the crap beat out of it by high winds and rain!! HELLO!! What happened to the SUN and WARMTH???
Anyways..I'll try to be more regular here..but my weekends get pretty crazy, as the son comes here from college......yeah, weird huh? My college sons would rather spend the weekend with his parents in a 38 foot RV, than with the college gang........say's he needs the REST!!

Hi Queeny,,,I'm a little late welcoming you but better late than never...Welcome to PH...


Used to live in Arizona (eons ago--back in '75) loved it ... you are right the winds can be brutal but they'll pass soon enough...(Winter time seems to be when the winds are the strongest...nothing--at least very rarely--moves during the summer to where you pray for even a slight breeze to move the air around....That's when I sat with a block of Ice sitting in a pan directly behind the fan (the place I lived in didn't believe in 'AC' --unless you opened the window)

Are you in Phoenix or Tucsan (those are the two major college towns that I can think of at the moment)? I lived in Phoenix aproximately 2 blocks from the Stadium.
