HI DI HO EVERYONE!! ME AGAIN!
Granny......we are at the Distant Drums RV park in Camp Verde...it's about 95 miles straight up Interstate 17 from Phoenix...in the RIM country....
Just before it goes into Sedona, and the Flagstaff area....still cold and windy......but not as bad as it was before...
We are only here, because son was attending college in PRESCOTT, an this is only a 30 minute drive away.
Next year he's changing his major, wants to study law instead, so he will be in Madison, WI......but WE WON'T!!! emoticon

So we may "WINTER" some place else next year...
In the summer we will be up in Minnesota or Wisconsin....to spend some time with HIM and Friends.......
Sorry this is such a long post........but with the REPLY BOX back ground....I just did not want to stop!! emoticon

Anywho...Good Friday Afternoon gang! Just catching up on some boards, as tomorrow we hit the road again!
Leaving Flagstaff, Arizona moving down to first Grants, New Mexico on Saturday....then on to Carlsbad, New Mexico on Sunday....going to do a bit of Caving in Carlsbad Caves the next couple of weeks. Hubby and I will just do the easy walking tours, but our 19 year old son is going to do both the deep caves. "hands and knees" kind of stuff!
Then later around September he is joining the Navy......so this is our last summer traveling together!
If anyone wants to see where I've been all summer...SO FAR...

You can see ELK in Estes, Colorado....relatives and the War Bird Museum and a Gold Dredge in Idaho.......Red Canyon and Bryce Canyon in Utah.......and now Flagstaff, Arizona!

Anywho..I'm around, just crazy busy...most of my time is spent keeping my site going and doing my Runboard duties......but I have not forgotten you all! emoticon

Great to see you again Queeny! Sounds like it's going to be a bittersweet summer for you and your family, but if your son is doing what he wants to do then I'm sure he'll do great. I have a brother who's going to Iraq in the next couple of weeks. He loves it though so who am I to judge?

I need to get back and visit your board again. It's been so busy for me too, school again and I've done another couple of plays since I was last at Queeny's. Not to mention gearing up for two more in the next five months. Whew.....what a rush life can be!

Hiya Queeny! I definitely has been looking like a crazy summer for yuns, and I have looked through some fo your pics as well. emoticon

My best friend in the whole world, Jeff, is in the Navy, stationed in Florida, he has it pretty easy though. Miss that boy.

You lot stay safe on your trips, and I guess I dun have to say to take more pics, cuz I know you will. emoticon
