Yeah, but if the water's cold, it hurts. I've swam all throughout the year, in water that's been really cold, and it's NOT pleasant. It just hurts emoticon

but the lower the air temperature is, the warmer the water will FEEL. ive gone swimming when its been near freezing here. (celsius, dunno farranheit)

Freezing is freezing, no matter what scale emoticon

I've been swimming near freezing before, too, but the water still feels COLD, and it's a shock to the body! It hurts and I dno't like it lol. Then again, I grew up in Texas where it's often HOT (100+F/40+C), sooo yeah. I love cold weather, but not for swimming.
