What's it doing with chrome B-pillar cappings? They're not standard - a sign of cheap repairs perhaps?

Just buy it if you want it mate, its £450 for 8 months in a Jag. Even if you drive to a scrappie afterwards you'll get most of your money back. emoticon

I'm a Yorkshireman, I'm designed to save a few bob!

It's one of my favourite XJ40 derivatives in the right colour scheme for it's spec, but there's no mention of service history, there doesn't seem to have been any effort gone into taking pics (They look like they're from an outing or holiday to me, we can't guarantee it's current condition), and I'm wary about the mileage. Yes, AJ6 lumps can do high mileages, but depending upon how it's been treated there could be very little left in it.

I'd still buy it for the sheer hell of it though - if I was after a cheapish motor and could afford the insurance an XJ40 is what I'd start looking for. Keith's right though - it's almost a free car taking the scrapman into account.

Listen hoody, im going to try the reverse psychology.

Don't buy the car because it will be a pile of crap and will cost a fortune to make roadworthy emoticon

You only live once - it'll either be a lesson well learnt or the best 450 ever spent
