The night my sister died our town was under seige. This may have had more to do with her death than the test she was undergoing to determine if she had mastered her magical training and was ready to ascend to the next level.
I was told to flee the town and I had no choice but to enter the woods...
But it was here that I first discovered the spell that had been cast on me. As I walked past the trees, each one glowed to light my path, and at the same time, the glow of the trees frightened away any creatures that might have attacked me..

A man approaches. He is garbed in gray robes that are slightly ripped. He has short gray hair and forest green eyes. "Hello," he says in a friendly tone," just out of intrest, why are you here? This path is very complicated. It holds remarkeble treasures, but aquiring them is the challenge."
The gray man slowly fades out, only fast enough for no chance of a reply...

I thought I had imagined that, out of exhaustion and stress, and fear for my sister (whose fate was unknown to me although I suspected..) What is he then? A ghost?
