Neath hit the big time!
A crowd of around 7,500 saw Swansea City beat Neath FC 5-0 in their friendly at The Gnoll last night.
Goals came from Guillem Bauza (two) , Ferrie Bodde, trialist Michael van der Heijden and new signing Stefan Morrison.
It was the first ever football match staged at the famous rugby ground and they were treated to a feast of goals and impressive performances from all of the Swans players.
What a shame it will be back to crowds of 175 in a few weeks time!

Re: Neath hit the big time!
The idea of playing at the Gnoll could have quite an effect on the town - but I'm sure 90% of them were Swans fans. Good new ground to go to tho.

It may be a good ground to visit, but if your name happens to be Kennedy and it turns out to be the 'Grassy Gnoll' better wear a crash hat. whistle
