posticon Just back from CA.

Trying to stay awake here to get the body back in rhythm (no pun intended).
Had two and a half weeks in CA on family holiday (that's vacation to you). Managed to fit in a few visits to music shops (that's stores to you). Picked up various drum heads at 1/3 or 1/2 less than in the UK (packed in between the body boards) and a Drum Dial at half of what you can get it here. Visited an independent music store in Oceanside near San Diego. A Guitar Center also near San Diego - a temple to Rock and Roll. Last but not least The Pro Drum Shop in Hollywood - walked in half way through a Gretch clinic/presentation which was kind of interesting but couldn't stay as limited on time.
Just unpacked my bag and didn't spill a drop of my DAWN SOAP!

You brought back some Dawn! Isn't dish soap pretty much all the same?

I'm not about ready to try anything else, but...

Nutbox, glad you're back.

This may shock some but I haven't had a drink (alcohol)in over 20 years. Not quite sure when I stopped but I never really liked it, although I tried my best to find what others see in it. Nothing against it though.
I think I am in for some flack now.
Your smoothies are the thing. Fruit and frozen yogurt and interesting stuff like bee pollen - now your talking.

So, TK I go all the way to the US, and NOW you tell me all dish soap is the same!emoticon

We stayed at a motel near the beach North of San Diego part of the time which had a kitchenette, so we needed to buy something, and when I saw Dawn on the shelf it was the obvious choice. I popped it into my bag afterwards. Not heard anyone in the UK mention soaking in dish soap, but you would expect them to all be the same, but who knows maybe they aren't. Why does everyone say Dawn and not just dish soap. Is the name generic like saying a hoover when what you mean is a vacuum cleaner? Trying what others with experience has worked for them is always a good start. emoticon

bee pollen in a drink....man you must have been on the left coast...that stuff does not fly here in the east....if we want something in our drinks, it's usually a shot glass full of ones favorite libation......and the only thing that makes a smoothies drinkable is some vodka...

cheers..........
