Rogers Kit Needs Dating - please help!
Hi,
I bought this kit seconf hand in London in 1987. The guy I bought it off didn't know too much about it. The sizes and serial numbers are as follows...
B/D D744991 22" x 14"
H/T D744795 12" x 8"
H/T D742701 13" x 9"
F/T D742770 16" x 16"
I think the colour is Mojave Red. Pictures attached.
Thanks.
Angus

Oh, this is just too nice and too clean for words, angus. Thinking 1976 or 1977. Excellent set of drums you have. Hold on to them.

Re: Rogers Kit Needs Dating - please help!
That's great. Thanks. They've been kept in hard cases all their life and wrapped up in blankets for extra protection. They've seen a lot of action of the years but are in great nick. I play them with a maple shelled Pearl free floating snare and that sounds very complementary.
I've recently run into space issues though and may have to get rid of them. I've got three kits now and these could be the sacrifial lambs.
