Sweet I just bought one of ebay. I think it was about 45 with shipping. i figured if I didn't like it I would just re sell it. Price was right...

To each his own. I had a Swivo stand for years. Got a Samson Big R stand 2 years ago and love it. Ended up selling the Swivo for big bucks on ebay. The prices were stupid high so away it went.

One of the best hi-hats I ever had. I ran it for about 10 years steady gigging before it started to wear out.

Smooth, relatively light, good stuff,

I've noticed all these things you guys have been saying about this high hat stand. I love mine, and it is way better than the speed king hi hat I was using before!

I've been using one for the last 8 years. I replaced the heavy Big R footboard with the classic Swivomatic footboard as soon as I got it. The action is good, the thing is rugged and not too heavy.

Also very stable and the Memriloc setup prevents anyone from messing with it when I'm in the host band for an open-mic night.
