Help me find a price to sell my 1976 Rogers Kit - PLEASE Help!?
Hi friends,
I have a 1976 6 piece Rogers Kit that I am looking to sell, and I have no idea what it is worth! - Any suggestions would help, even a ballpark asking price! - The kit consists of 2 rack toms, 2 floor toms, snare, 24" kick drum, Paiste Hi-hats - 2002, Paiste ride, and a 16" crash- think its an older Zildjian. -- The drums are black, and I don't think they are painted. - I think it is that vynal material - or whatever it is. -- I have no bass drum pedal that I am selling w/ the kit - and the heads are old and need replaced. THe kit is a little worn, but in overall good condition. I do have cases for all drums - except the kick, and a case on wheels for the hardware. I have the serial #'s for all the drums - the kick is D03911 - and the snare is D07092 - I don't know if this will help or not - and I have other numbers for the other drums if you need them!!!

Pictures would help. To post pictures, just open a (free) account on photobucket.com. Upload the pictures there, then place them in a message here using the "Insert Image" button.
Anyway, 1976 black (very common color) kits - I assume they are "Memri-Loc", don't fetch a huge price. Even in excellent condition I wouldn't see them getting over $500 (this is just the drums mind you. I don't know about cymbals). But the market is not good right now, so you might not even see $400 for them.
