Been busy with work lately...have to stop every now and then to take time to smell the Rogers!
Looks like an old painted marching drum to me. The paint job might not be factory. Usually these drums are found in natural mahog shell and maple hoops. The paint job could of been requested to match school colors. Also, the snare tensioner(threaded knob) is missing and I don't know what is holding the snares up in place. There is a threaded eyelet that is attached to the part that slides and that is missing too. I've seen these drums sell for $10.00-$125.00(mint with original calf). Not much of a market for old single tension marching drums. I do like that badge! Peace, Gary
Prob. measures 10x14. They did offer 12x14 and 8x14 in this era.
