old Rogers pedals
The earliest 1940s Rogers pedals have two small blips on the top of the footboard on both HH stands and bass pedals. It is found in the Rogers book as Acme Model 1946. In the photo below it is far left and should have a wooly beater.
In the 1940 catalog they do not offer their own bass pedals yet. They do offer the Rogers De Luxe Hi Hat for $10.00 and it has the blips at the top of the footboard.
The pedal on the far right is in the book as 1954-58 (curved sides). After that there was some eagle badge and odd script era with Camco pedals. Then back to Rogers...
The Rogers pedal in the middle is the last one that showed up on Ebay. It has the older heavy black frame but in the shape of the later gray 1960s Jet Model with the spring on the inside right. I wonder if it was OH 1952-54 "missing link" or made along with the others. These early footboards are found on ****tail pedals too.

Re: old Rogers pedals
Very interesting stuff Gary. You don't see as many old pedals on ebay anymore. Thanks.
