Repro wood dyna
I want to ask everyone - what do you think this drum will be worth in 20 years time?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ROGERS-DYNASONIC-MAPLE-WOOD-SNARE-DRUM-14X5-RED-SPARKLE_W0QQitemZ330278237834QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item330278237834&_trkparms=39%3A1%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A10%7C240%3A1318&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14
maybe it's actually a good buy . . . or not?
--- Regards,
PK.

Re: Repro wood dyna
I've heard from people who've bought his repros in the past and they love them. Quality shells and superb workmanship and, of course, Rogers parts. They have said the sound is great.

Re: Repro wood dyna
My only complaint is the forgery/counterfeit angle. Regardless of how they play, these are not Dynas but look like Dynas. There should be a tasty, period looking plaque screwed into the drum (yes, at least two extra and obvious screw holes) stating the manufacturer's name and mentioning the word replica.

Re: Repro wood dyna
TK,
What is that?
Where did you have that made?
Or, is it a piece of digital trickery?
Mine is real, #3. the first 2 went on clones I built and sold years ago. I also have #4.
So, there are 2 more D-A-S clones coming sometime in the future, hopefully before SkyNet takes over the world.
Anyone watch the Sarah Conner Chronicles?
