New To The Forum
I've been playing Rogers for only a couple of years. I bought a blue glass glitter Dayton kit 20/12/16 in 2006 and ever since the Yamaha Maple Custom Absolute kit I was gigging with has been idle. Snare is a Keystone badge Acrolite.

Re: New To The Forum
Nice, RiverCity! Another blue sparkle fan. There are a lot of them here, including me. So the Rogers beat the Yamahas, eh?
You will love the forum. Great people, great info.
Welcome to Rogers heaven.

Re: New To The Forum
One of our house rules is that lefties bring donuts every other Tuesday.
Nice drums. I wish I had something as nice in green sparkle.
No, my budget does not match my imagination.

Actually, I did not pay that much for the three pieces -- only $750. I considered it a bargain. They were in fair condition, but everything (lugs, t-rods, mufflers, spurs, swivo tom mount, floor tom legs etc.) was there. I disassembled, cleaned, polished and re-assembled (replacing any rusted screws and washers) and put all new heads on them. In that tiny pic you can't see the crack in the floor tom wrap that I glued -- it's a spiderweb crack, as if someone hit it with a hammer or something, but the wood is undamaged.
