David Garibaldi is one of my favorites, by far. Talk about a funky white boy. Tower of Power would not have made it without him, and they aren't the same without him today.

1981 - David Garibaldi
Garibaldi was in town with his Christian band. Stopped in to see what we were working on. Annoyed that we wouldn't build an impossible triple hi-hat idea of his.

tk.....I saw Tower of Power twice a few years ago and he was back with them...man, he played effortlessly.... did he leave them again ?

I didn't know this. I saw them years ago at a casino in Lake Tahoe and he wasn't with them. I didn't know that he rejoined. I really believe that his chops are the centerpiece of the band.
