1983 - Bearing Edge Rough Cut

This is Adon using the router to cut bearing edges. This required a fair amount of skill, otherwise the peak of the bearing edge would be all over the place. You couldn't just keep re-doing it because we didn't have any 7-1/2 x 12's in the catalog. People were expecting 8 x 12's.

Behind him is the jig for drilling holes for the Receiver brackets. You can tell from looking at the pearl bass drum shells that first we'd drill the two screw holes for each Receiver, then we'd bore out the large hole.
