1980 - Pearl Contact Cement
This was the drum line in Fullerton in 1980 before it moved to Ensenada, Mexico. The contact cement on pearl had to dry before rolling it onto the shell using those two machines in the background.
I don't recall the specs on the glue we used.

Re: 1980 - Pearl Contact Cement
What a brilliantly simple idea.
In my modest rewrap project, where I put the glued wrap while waiting for the contact cement to dry was almost comical in my tight quarters basement.
I never even considered the clothesline.
(Besides that, your pictures are a delight)
thanks
Patrick
