Hey Rogersoholic - thanks for the heads-up. I've got that baby in my Watched Items List on ebay already. I'd love to snap it up, but the timing couldn't be worse -- so I'll get to learn what it's worth instead.
I'm a little confused though, about this being a rare color/snare drum -- because this is the third blue or gray ripple snare drum on ebay within maybe 10 days. I've been a Rogers owner for maybe 3 weeks, and I've come across three ripple snare drums already. Is this a freak occurrence? Is this a sign that I should throw caution to the wind and put it on the charge card? AAAggh. This is a philosophical dilemma at its core.

The gray is far more common than the blue. If your bass and tom are blue like you say. This shouldnt be passed up. Thats why the high price .. color. Make sure you have the right color, 1962 catalog may help.
