Thanks for the nice comments emoticon

The snare was not wrapped (none of my Rogers were). It was covered in the old glue and the bottom rim appeared original - but the space between 2 lugs was out. I got one from Jollity.

nearly there


I say "nearly there" because I am waiting (since September) for drumbuilder.com to send my order of bits and pieces including some RIMS and Tama-style mounts which I think will look better with this kit. I mean it lives on a rack - it's not going anywhere else in the foreseeable future - so the important thing to me is the sound. When (if) I get the parts, I'll do a proper shoot and post it in the gallery. I wanted top put this up because I'm playing it every day!
