Champion position challenges
The challenge for the position of Champion of Rogin will occur at Ragnarok. All those wishing to challenge for the postion should announce their intent here. Anyone who wishes to challenge but cannot go to ragnarok should announce here and then make it to the next battle after Ragnaok. No challenges can occur after one month of Ragnarok.
Details on the procedure of the challenge will follow.

The Rogin Champion Trial
-Frothgar
• The Champion position is determined annually at or within on month of Ragnarok.
• If a challenge is not held within one month of Ragnarok the previous Champion, or whoever was ahead at the Ragnarok trials, is the Champion.
• The challenges will be played out as far as they can be at Ragnarok. Any absent challengers’ names will be put on the tournament bracket, to be completed later.
The Trial
• All challengers and the current champion have their names taken down and drawn randomly to fill a tournament bracket.
• Each pair of combatants fights a best of three series of duels.
• Before each pair fight for the first time a coin toss is held to decide which fighter is Hunter, and which is Hunted.
• Hunter- chooses the weapons, armour (augmented or unaugmented) for the duel.
• Hunted- chooses the venue. The venue can be at any location the Dagorhir has access to at the time of the fight.
• The duel must take place within one hour of the coin toss.
• Armour- a fighter's armour must be declared at the time of the name drawings. All pieces must be owned by the fighter or legitimately borrowed. If borrowed the true owner of the piece must be present to acknowledge that the armour is freely given.
• Weapons- every effort will be made to find matched weaponry for the combatants. (shields are counted as weapons)
• Once the first duel is finished the hunter hunted roles are switched. The second duel must take place within a half an hour of the first.
• The third duel will be fought with the weaponry chosen by the Chieftain and held in a 60 foot Circle of Equals, on open level ground.
