Question on red weapons
I am still in the act of makeing my first weapon when I have come acroos a problem. I want my weapon to be red weapons but I don't know how long to make it. The rule states
"4.3.6. A swung weapon (sword, axe, mace, glaive, halberd, etc.) 48 inches or longer is considered a red weapon."
dose this mean that a red weapon can not be shorter then 48 inches?
Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated

Yes. The minimum length for a red and the max length of blues (well, blues have to be just shorter). That also means that any weapon over 48" must adhere to red weapon rules like weight.
Out of curiosity, what type of weapon are you building? What are its dimensions?

I just realized, do you just want your weapon to be colored red, not a red class weapon? A red class weapon cannot be under 48" and 24 ounces, but a weapon of any class (except javelins) can have any color cover you want.

no you were right first, I want to make a red class weapon.
As for the type I am going for a too handed long sword, something I actualy have knowledge in.
Oh and that reminds me...one mroe quetion
where would be the best place to buy foam to padd my weapon with?

The easiest foam to use is the Ozark Trail camping pad "blue foam." It can be found in most Wal Marts. It should be in the camping section around the sleeping bags. It's a rectangular sheet of blue faom 20" x 72". Get the lighter, flat stuff, not the darker eggshell stuff.
