Greetings
I saw the whole Dagorhir expedition at Baden Hill on Wreckreation Nation and thought it looked like a hell of a lot of fun. I've seen other type things but they were all way too nerdy for my tastes (what with the magic and all), and Dagorhir looks like just the right mix of fantasy and down-to-earth-ness to actually be fun.
I'm originally from the Wilkesbarre-Scranton area in northeastern Pennsylvania, but currently attending school near Lancaster. So the Rogin, having members around north Jersey and Philly, seemed like a great local match.
Just thought I'd stop in here and try to meet some of you guys, see what you're all about.

Re: Greetings
I suppose my main questions are how active are you guys?
How big is the Rogin group?
Typically, how many people would show up to a practice?
Do you guys do anything for after-practice fun, or is practice strictly business?
I'm 21, soon to be 22, what's the general age range of the group members?

Re: Greetings
Hey lucian,
Frothgar is really busy and he is in a bit out of the way location for a few months. If I remember most of the Rogin range around your age. I dont know what they do after practices, but most likely if you wanted to hang about im sure Rog would be all for it.

Re: Greetings
Sorry for the delay, Been learning how to save lives in the woods.
we have a small core of about 10 really active fighters, with about 20 who show up at least once a year. But with Wreckreation nation airing we have had a large influx of new interest. so our numbers will see a rise soon.
The practices in jersey (2 pm on sundays in union forge park, Highbridge NJ)get about 10 people. im not sure how big the philly practices get.and they are usually open practices, with a bunch of units practicing together.
There is very little that is strickly business in Rogin or Dagorhir in general. Often a pizza place is our stop after practice.
The age range is 16 to 24. with an average being 21.
Did you make it out to the new person battle?

Re: Greetings
Hey all. I'm new to this so what should i bring to the practices? And if there's anyone living in Toms River NJ would you be willing to give a ride? I'd pay for gas.

Re: Greetings
I didn't make it out to the new people practice, sorry. I'm in the middle of a school semester right now and won't have my own apartment until next (semester), so I haven't had much time to myself to try organize any trip to one of these things. Too much classwork going on.
I'd like to maintain my interest, but as for physically making it out there, I'm not sure exactly when that will be. The best bet would be that I'll actually be able to make it to my first couple of practices throughout June and July. I have two friends who expressed interest also, but I haven't talked about it in depth with them. They're from my home town and I only see them on the weekends I manage to make it home from school.
Frothgar, where can I e-mail you to talk more in depth about the details?
