Frothgar's immaculate garb
Frothgars immaculate garb breakdown.
1) My blue tunic is based off of a Greek chiton. A simple garment that would be used in warmer climates. As my character is from very cold lands this would be a logical choice given my current location. It is also colored blue because I would have access to blue woad dye. It is essentially a big bag with arm holes, so it is a simple and easy to produce item.
2) I wear a simple, unpleated kilt. This is not to imply scotish or irish ancestry in my character. I chose a kilt because it would be a simple, unrestricting, rugged, easy to produce, and versatile item.
3) I frequently wear blue face paint, this is too simulate woad, an ancient dye that was (likely) used by early Celtic warriors. My character race, Nord, is from the elder scrolls games, and they frequently wear woad.
4) (armour 1) My cuirasse and tassets are made from scales of many shades, this helps break up my outline in the woods, which would be important in a guerilla campaign. It is light and flexible so it does not hinder movement at all. This would be important when hunting/ stalking. The design of my armour is such that I could easily modify and repair it in the field.
5) (armour 2) My helmet is a simple cap of hardened leather. It covers only the top of my head leaving the mouth, eyes, and ears uncovered. I am more reliant on my senses than my armour to keep me alive.
