The Battle according to the Paladins

This is the Paladins account of the October Battle.

Frothgar and whomever it may interest,

The Paladins of Taurendor ventured into the far reaches of the northern wastelands of Taurendor hoping to reforge the northern alliance of Rogin and the Paladins of Millennia that was betrayed by the self-vain glory of the Rangers of Tauredor in the final battle for the Tree of Life sapling in which the sapling was destroyed. They encountered a new group of barbarians in the northeast region with both men and women fighters. At first the barbarians very successfully outnumbered and defeated the paladins in open battle and armored knights were pushed back. However, Commander Artorous initiated a clever battle plan at the last as they charged into a final victory and temporarily routed the barbarians. On the retreat back to the paladin homelands the barbarians pursued. However, the paladins were able to bottle neck the hordes of northerners in a series of bridge battles. However, the heavily armored paladins began to tire, and were ready to return home. Artorous held out to the last and hired barbarian mercenaries to hold the bridges south. However, in the end the barbarians broke through and will undoubtedly be raiding the lower lands again soon, but the remaining sacred order of paladins and the Order of Tauren will be waiting if they are not too tied up with fighting orcs!

XP~Artorous of the Paladins of Taurendor (Quixote)

PS Thanks for having us. We enjoyed it.
